SLOHS Pool & Support Building
Description: The new 25-yard-by-35-meter pool at San Luis Obispo High School will feature 16 lanes, 2 diving boards, entry stairs and an entry ramp for handicapped accessibility and a surrounding deck. The adjacent new 1,500 square foot pool support building will house a mechanical room for pool equipment, athletic storage rooms and single occupancy changing room with restroom. Pool lighting for evening competition events will be added as well as temporary bleachers for spectator and team seating. Additional improvements include new landscaping, fencing and support systems. As part of this project, the varsity and JV softball fields will be renovated at the former baseball and softball fields. This will include renovation of the turf areas, new infields and back stops and improved practice facilities.
Timeline: The project is in the final design phase and is anticipated to break ground in Summer of 2018
