Citizens’ Oversight Committee
The School District’s Board of Trustees has appointed seven people to the Measure D Citizens’ Oversight Committee:
Mr. Kenneth San Filippo, chair
Ken San Filippo is a 45 year resident of San Luis Obispo County. He is a retired public school educator who attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo earning BS, MS and MA degrees. Ken enjoys giving back to the community. He spends his time volunteering for various youth-centered organizations and serves on several community boards such as SESLOC Federal Credit Union Supervisory Committee, the Avila Valley Advisory Council, and is a member of the 2014-15 Grand Jury. Ken currently resides in Avila Beach with his wife and his Scottish Terrier, Angus.
Mr. Chris S. Delaney
Chris Delaney is tax supervisor at Glenn Burdette.
Ms. Jolie Ditmore
Jolie Ditmore is a founder and partner of Medicorp.
Mr. Christopher Lopez
Christopher Lopez is a fourth-year student at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo who will graduate with a BA in philosophy and a minor in political science. Since moving to the area 3 years ago, Christopher has been actively involved in the community. He serves on the City of San Luis Obispo's Mass Transportation Committee and is currently an Ambassador for the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce and a Board Member and Advocacy Committee Member for Associated Students Inc. at Cal Poly. Christopher is excited about the technological advances, classroom improvements and career pathways that will be afforded to SLCUSD students as a result of Measure D.
Ms. Jeanne A. Potter
Jeanne A. Potter is a CPA and principal with Glenn Burdette.
Ms. Royaa Silver
Royaa Silver is assistant VP of creative services, Cal Poly.
Dr. Jim Stanfill
Dr. James W. Stanfill is a retired educator who spent 35 years working in public K-12 school districts and held various teaching and administrative positions including Principal and Superintendent. For the last 20 years, Dr. Stanfill has consulted for both the US Department and the California Department of Education on numerous projects and has served as part-time faculty for Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, California State University of San Francisco, California State University at Fullerton, and the University of California at Riverside. Dr. Stanfil is very active in the community of Los Osos and was named Citizen of the Year in 2005. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Los Osos/Baywood Park Chamber of Commerce, Los Osos Rotary Club, Friends of the Library and Estero Bay Community Radio Station. Jim and his wife are also Community Leaders of Los Osos 4-H.
